Tiny Tails Ballet/Tap

This is our Intro class to Dance, tiny tails is designed for 3-4 year olds with no dance experience.  This class focuses on fun games, basic ballet techniques, freeze dance, obstacle courses, singing & dancing.

The Tiny Tails class has a strict AGE LIMIT OF 3 & Up.  We will no longer accept 2 year olds into our program.  When your child turns 3, they are then eligible to sign up for the Tiny Tails program.  All children must be potty trained as well to participate in our Dance programs.

Ballet

Ballet is the basic foundation of all dance forms. It teaches proper placement, carriage, grace, and poise. Barre exercises develop strength and flexibility, while center work allows the student to practice classic dance principles. Ballet is highly recommended as a complement to other classes because the terminology and placement learned in ballet quickens advancement in other classes.

Pre- Ballet is for Our 5-6  year olds

Ballet I, II are age based classes.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is the latest in popular street and video moves put into combinations that are fun and exciting! All music is age appropriate with edited lyrics!

Jazz

Jazz dance is an American dance form which evolves and changes with the latest popular styles. Students work on placement and technique while learning modern, funky, and contemporary jazz styles. The class consists of a warm-up, floor progressions, and combinations.

Aerial/Acro/Tumbling

Tumbling is the mat portion of gymnastics. Mats are used to teach students safe techniques for rolls, handstands, walk-over, handsprings, and other tricks. Studying tumbling in a dance environment assures students have equal ability on both sides, and the focus is on beautiful technique. Tumbling is a great complement to any dance form. As a compliment to Tumbling, we will introduce the dancers to Aerial Arts focusing on Aerial Silks, Hammocks & Aerial Hoop techniques.  This class will perform an Acro routine for the recital.

Dance Cheer

Our "Marco Mermaids" Dance Cheer Squad will be cheer based tumbling, learning to perform minimal stunt work with pyramids and team building exercises.  They will learn various cheers and chants.  The cheer team will be invited to cheer at various sporting events on the island throughout the year.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT & Mini Camps

Our Parents Night Out Options are on certain Saturdays each month and are from 6-9Pm. Cost is $30 for the first child and $15 each additional child. Includes popcorn and a movie, Cheese Pizza, bounce house and fun games with friends.  Must register in advance online under Schedule, no same day walk-ins allowed. Pre registration only accepted. Ages 3-10 only.

MINI CAMPS- We will hold mini camps on mondays & fridays from 8:45am- 1:15pm and most holidays/teacher planning days for ages 3-10, Co ed.
