Ms Jae began dancing at just 4 years old and has had a lifelong passion for movement, performance, and sharing the art of dance with the next generation. Growing up as a competitive dancer, Jae developed a strong technical foundation and deep appreciation for the discipline, confidence, and work ethic that dance instills in young performers.
With over a decade of experience teaching and choreographing, Jae has worked with dancers of all ages and levels in styles including Acro, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, and Pom. Additionally, Jae specializes in strength and conditioning programs designed specifically for dancers. Jae is especially passionate about helping students build strong technical foundations, improve their overall conditioning, and develop the strength and confidence needed to safely progress in their training.
In 2014, Jae was selected as a member of Dance USA’s® International Dance Team, known as the American Dance Team, where the team went on to win the World Title in Barcelona, Spain. Jae has also worked professionally as a member of The Pearls, the professional cheer and dance team for the Biloxi Shuckers.
In addition to teaching and performing, Jae has served as a dance competition adjudicator, bringing years of industry knowledge and performance training into the classroom setting. Jae loves encouraging dancers to push beyond their limits while still creating a positive, supportive, and motivating environment.
Ms Jae is excited to officially join the Marco Island Dance Academy teaching staff and looks forward to working with dancers both in-studio and virtually through private strength, conditioning, and technique training sessions.
